Crazy Haiku for Dadaists

by Bill Wyatt
Solemn as oysters
migrating birds on the verge
of bankruptcy
The salad falls asleep
in my lap - moonlight shimmers
on the champagne bottle
Behind an eyeglass
the fuschia enveloped in
the depths of night
Bicycles in the graveyard
while others travel far
I lick postage stamps
Before the snowfall
in the recesses of wardrobes
my coat stands alone
Hoot of an owl -
above the artfully set table
a wild strawberry
